We've carried this back massager for years and so we've heard a lot of feedback from our customers. We'll let you in on what they tell us:
Great for solid chairs such as an office chair but very intense on well-padded chairs and very soft sofas. This item can sink into soft cushions which allows the Shiatsu Massage nodes to give a deeper massage that can be uncomfortable for some.
**Helpful Tip: Simply use the item on a more solid chair or use the included faux-leather cover, it softens the massage intensity and puts a soft barrier between the massage nodes and your back for a more relaxing massage.
Great for men, and some women. This is a deep-tissue style massager so our male customers seem to enjoy the Shiatsu-pressure, while some female customers, especially petite ones, find it too strong.
Unique dual power options are great and everyone seems to have success with in-home use, but please check your vehicle to make sure it will accommodate the extra inches that this massager will add. If you're already pressed for room we don't know if this is the best option for you.
We've also heard that passengers love to have this item on long road trips, but drivers need to use their best judgement before combining massage and vehicle operation.

Love the various settings on the 3-in-1. Make a customizable massage based on 3 different settings of vibration or kneading can be used independently or at the same time.
The fingers inside the massager where you put your legs switch between squeezing and kneading motions that are quite relaxing, and like I said- you can turn on the vibration during all of this or use either function alone which is the best part in my opinion. Don'y get scared when the massager starts squeezing your feet, it was a little awkward at first, but then it felt great!

This massager is awesome! I love how portable it is - if you have an office job that keeps you glued to computer, it can really take a toll on your back and shoulders. I can use this in the car on the way to work, and again while I'm there. It comes with a car adapter that allows you to do just that!
Next time I have a long ride in the car ahead of me, I will definitely be bringing this with me. It feels just as good as human hands working on my back, and has many settings so you can adjust to what you need massaged. There is a button for heat, seat vibration with low, medium and high settings and kneading shiatsu settings of lower, upper, and full back massage- trust me, theyre all great!

This may not be the fanciest looking massager, but it really functions well. Ease of use is amazing- it's very basic: plug it in, turn it on, and let it go to town on your feet. Try positioning your feet in different ways to create a different effect from the massage.
It vibrates only, does not knead, but that does not affect the after result. At first it felt somewhat tickly and I was skeptical about how it could actually massage on vibration alone, but when I was done using the massager I could feel a relaxing tingle all the way up my legs, not just my feet. This massager will move around on a hard floor because of the vibrations so put a towel, rug, carpet, whatever underneath to eliminate that altogether. I feel like it's more of a medical massager than other options out there and the relief I've gotten has been worth every penny- would recommend highly, especially for people with foot pain.

I wish there was a number higher than 5 to give this product!
I'm a nurse and I spend long hours on my feet, standing and walking. I know how important good circulation is in the feet and legs and give my share of massages to my patients throughout the day, but I rarely even get to put my feet up, much less get a massage of my own.
I recently purchased the 3-in-1 Leg Calf and Foot Massager and it is the nicest thing I have done for myself. I've been using it nightly since I got it. Rolling, kneading action on my calves get my blood circulating as it should and I know how good it is for me. This is a strong massager, it squeezes and kneads with a deep pressure, working out the aches and pains. Not for people who are overly sensitive -but I need something that really does the job!
I cant recommend this product highly enough if you know someone who spends time on their feet - or just loves a good calf and foot massage. Free shipping made it even better!

I bought this as a gift for my mother who is in her late 70s, she was excited to try it but it was too strong for her. The roller balls actually hurt her feet. I ended up giving to my brother, and him and his wife absolutely love it and rave about the reults, so I guess its just not for elderly or sensitive feet. At least I made some people really happy! they mean it when they say its intense! Now I just got to find something softer for mom.

Great foot massager because it has adjustable size and I have small feet but my husband has big feet so that setting is really nice for us to both get a good foot massage from the same machine. The heats not that strong but the massage sure is! I actually called because I wanted to know if I could get it hotter but I guess theres some safety standard and it cant be hotter or its a fire hazzard. Well anyway, you wont beat this foot massager with anything from a mall. Its intense. Oh, and I love how quiet it is. Oh- and also theres a remote so you can change the settings while you're lying down, love that feature!

Dont be scared by the price, this one is so worth it.
Feels much more like a professional massage machine that was designed by someone who understands the principles and benefits of reflexology. You can tell its manufactured well, not some junk like some others out there, this is by Sanyo, so you know you can trust it.
Feels just like the acupressure massage of an expert reflexologist, it doesnt just squeeze your feet for temporary relief, it targets pressure points and the results are much longer lasting. Plus theres a remote. I like this one because it fully reclines so you can use it lying down for the full affect. Would definitely recommend.

I have tried a lot of massagers and this one is by far the
best Shiatsu massager I have used. It is well made and
comes with a supportive pillow. I have used it maily for my
neck and shoulders. But it can be used for back, leg, and
calf, too. It just feels like a therapist working on my
neck and shoulders and I can do it at the comfort of my
home. I had cheaper shiatsu massagers before but the
position of their massage node are fixed. One very nice
feature about the ShoulderFlex is that it allows me to
adjust the width and depth of its fingers. In fact, I can
increase the width to cover the entire portion of my
shoulders. Great product for the money!

Our daughter in law said that she had heard about the Swing
Master Chi Machine and suggested that my wife and I get it.
My wife has spinal arthritis and Ive had most of the bones
in my body broken. We have had the Chi Machine for only two
weeks and I cant tell you how happy we are with it. We are
sleeping better, and one of the major things that I noticed,
was that when walking down our stairs, I no longer have to
hang on to the handrails. I had my right knee operated on 6
months ago and my balance has been off. It seems that after
only 2 sessions on the Chi Machine my balance started coming
under control and getting back to normal. My wife is
noticing a reduction in pain in her lower back and left hip.
Hopefully this will alleviate the need for any intrusive
surgery for her. I also just ordered the Swing Master Chi
Machine for my daughter in law as a thank you for
recommending it to us.

Im in love! I want to marry my Shiatsu Squeeze with Heat and I dont even care if you tell my husband!
But until my state makes that legal, Ill just have to get such foot-pleasing relief that it ought to be against the law! <-- I know I sound like a commercial, but I love this massager. Can you tell? ;)
Rollers rub back and forth on the bottom of my feet. Cusioned squeezes squeeze down the length of the sides of my feet, feeling like 2 sets of hands spoiling me rotten.
But thats not al! More hands squeeze and caress my calves. OMG! SOOO GOOOD! And to top it all off, heat flows through them in radiant waves. Its like an entire team of very talented masseuse? are all working on me in perfect harmony and without saying a word. Can it get any better?
I wasn't too loud either.
I think you ought to buy it now. Its so good its sure to
be outlawed in several foreign states and a few of our own!

Relief, your name is TENS!
Big pads, little pads, clips into acupressure sandals, clips
on to ear lobes...and easy-to-read digital display.
Plus, it runs on get-em-anywhere AAA batteries, so I am
never left without relief on the road. And since the stress
of my job and too many hours in front of a computer makes
some of pain, I frequently use the unit at my desk while I
work, using the USB power input.
Most people wouldnt need this feature, probably, but I am
grateful for the auto-shutoff. I set up the mode, intensity
and time of the treatment I want and it shuts off when that
time is reached. With my pain blocked by the device, I
actually work more focused so time passes much more quickly.
I have used another of the TENS devices offered here, but
gave it to my brother and upgraded this unit. Were both
happy about that decision.

All I can say is WOW!
So many hand-held massagers make you work almost as hard, manipulating a vibrating wand, than having no tool for the job at all. Not the case with the Thumper. Like they say, just put it into place where you need to relax the muscles and let it do all the work.
Maybe that wouldnt be such a great recommendation if it were just me saying that. My back pain comes from working at a desk, standing over a sink and stove, and lugging groceries, garden equipment and grandchildren.
I also like being able to choose from 3 different power settings and the size lets me reach the center of my back without hurting my shoulder and lets my son work on his sore thigh muscles without needing a third arm.
Definitely recommended!
The only gripe I have with it was the cost.
It's worth it, but I wanted bigger discount.
I found this cheaper here than other places because of the free shipping.

After using this back massager for just a few minutes I felt
compelled to write a review about it.
It feels like it was built to fit my back Im 55. The
vibration was great, but the kneading nodes seemed to know
just where I needed relief in my lower back and between my
shoulder blades.
Its a little deep I guess it has to be to fit that
masseuse inside of it, so I have to push forward to use it
in my desk chair, but it fits just great in my armchair. And
that masseuse is strong! I can push as hard as I want
against the massage and it doesnt slow it a bit.
I chose almost perfect because of the extra depth I
either need a deeper desk chair or a less stressful job!,
and Id like to be able to adjust heat.

I'm not sure what the review before me means, this massager is too strong for me!
It has roller bumps that stick out and rub into your back and it hurt mine.
I called in to talk about it with their customer service and they told me that this is what "shiatsu massage" means, that there are bumps or rollers or something that pushed into your muscles. I guess I wanted just a kind of massager that vibrates so I'm going to return this one.
I gave 5 stars not for the product because I didn't like it and will return it, but for the customer service I got. They took the time to explain about the different styles of massages and I guess I didn't understand when I bought this one. If you have any questions call them BEFORE you buy, it's really helpful.

I had suffered an injury that had me going in for therapy twice weekly. Each visit I would have electrodes placed on me and the muscles stimulated electronically, and that night I would be able to get to sleep, having some relief from the pain.
I finally heard the unit referred to as a TENS unit, so when my doctor visits ran out, I did the research and found this online. Don't get me wrong, it helped! And since all you need is a 9V battery, I could do it anywhere.
The pads were not quite right size though, and I am more comfortable with a digital device so I can find the settings that work for me and use them over and over. And I found I was using it almost daily!

My kids got me this lovely, lightweight, comfy back pillow for mother's day to use at my office.
The memory foam makes it very adaptable. The picture shows it used on lower back. I had it upside down and in the middle of my back because thats where it was hurting and it still worked just fine. It is wonderful as a lumbar pillow though, even without the vibration!
The cover is very soft, and a very pretty dark blue. It's zippered on, and underneath that is another slipcover over the memory foam. It's got adjustable straps to you can get up from the chair and not lose that perfect position. The memory foam is so comfy and the cover so soft, I even used it to pillow my head without the discomfort you'd usually have from using a mechanical device as a pillow!
But heres the very best part of all. Its battery-operated -- two little AA batteries you can get anywhere -- so there are no cords, and you can take it anywhere. This is
definitely going with me on my next long car trip! When I am not using it to give me lower back support, I will likely be using it to pillow my head against the window.

I like this massager but the speed and heat's a little weaker than I expected.
Pro:
The shiatsu movements are fairly complex and effective.
The vibration is subtle but sufficient.
The spacing between nodes fits my spine
Con:
While it generated heat through the movements, I didn't feel
much heat coming from the device itself. Since it's summer in a bit, that's not horrible though.
It would be nice if it had a handle. Its small enough to move around, but for the same reason it ought to have a
handle to make it easy to position in different places on the back, or to grab it to move to my legs. It's small enough to move easily without a handle, but I would have added one.
Even at fast speed it's pretty slow. I would prefer to have one speed that moved a little quicker when I need the stimulation, but I like really really strong massages.

I'm a mason by trade and a cross-country runner by choice.
I spend hours on my feet, moving tons of stone. My wife bought me this hopeing it would help my back and feet. I think she thought it would also keep me from whinging and make me more productive when I was home. She had no idea it would also be useful for my thighs and calves when they get sore from training, running and jumping over obstacles.
Its the results that count though and this thing brings the results. She did really good choosing this one, and I think you ought to consider it too.

I got this for mom for an early mother's day gift because I know she loves massages and I know I hate giving them. Sorry mom!
Mom's a little small and it works best if she sits back in a chair to use this leg massager. She loves the kneading action so much she hates turning it over to dad to use.
Bonus; Dad has large feet but he fits the massager too. This seems to be important to mom; the fabric liner zips out to wash which she does to, and I quote "Get the old man smell out".
So happily, mom loved this gift, even better than what sis got her and that's what it is all about.

I bought it because of the bad review here about being too strong.
Uh, sorry, but that's what percussion means.
Their right, it is too strong which makes it perfect for me.
I'm a big guy with muscles and don't see a point buying a massager thats weak. It does feel like someones pounding you then tapping you and thats what I wanted.

I saw this at the mall and wanted to get it but it was 400 dollars after tax so I found this online and the price was good and the massager came with free shipping.
I called the store to ask if it was the mall version and they told me the vibration on the feet is less strong and that its lighter and more portable but with a great squeezing massage.
I ordered it because it was on sale and am satisfied. The gripping massage was a little weird at first, but I close my eyes and pretend it's a hottie maseuss and it feels great.

I'm really torn if I love this or hate this. I guess I kind of hate it and kind of love it.
It thumps? Taps? (I have no idea what to call it) my shoulders and neck incredibly strongly.
The first time I tried it I almost jumped out of my skin.
I guess I was thinking it would lightly vibrate or something but it suddently started pounding on me like hands or fingers or something.
I thing the tapping? thumping is air, and it was WAY TOO strong for my shoulders. (I'm small)
Even on low it's pretty strong.
Did I mention that this is a really strong massage?
BUT, when my lover back was killing me, I lay down and put this punding tapping tourture machine on my back and it worked.
So I love it, and hate it and think it is either too strong or good.
I haven't returned it so I'll probably keep it and use it on the strong parts of my body.

This is one of the best vibrating massagers I've ever used.
The first time I used this, I set it directly on a wood floor and it seemed very loud to me.
I tried it on the carpet with a mat underneath and it got better, but still seemed loud.
I asked my children if it seemed to be an unnaturally loud massager, but they said it seemed normal.
I use a hearing aide and I think that was what made it seen so loud to me even on the carpet and now I turn my hearing aide off when I'm massaging my feet.

This foot/calves massager is just great! I tried an "ISqueez" at Brookstone over the weekend and could immediately walk better. It was nothing short of amazing to me. I looked on the Internet and happened upon your website and was delighted to find the almost exact same product at not only a discount but I like your warranty, I'm not sure of the warranty for the Brookstone "ISqueez" but couldn't find it on their website. That does matter. I've had four strokes and have numbness in both feet and this thing just makes all the difference in the world. It's exciting that I'll be able to make this into my daily routine.

I seriously love this massager.
I use it in the bath and it keeps its charge for such a long
time. My crows feet are tighter and my skin seriously shines.
I got this because there are both face and body modes, and
Ive never seen that before.
I use it on my belly because it is supposed to slim as well
as tone. I dont know if Im slimmer yet, but I still
recommend it.
